Refund Cancellation

We respect your autonomy. If GambiaEdu SMS doesn't work for you, cancellation is straightforward. What matters: protecting your data rights.

Policy Details:

Cancellation Process:

  • Schools can request cancellation anytime, no questions asked

  • No penalties for early termination

  • 7-day notice typically required (included in contract)

  • Final charges adjusted for unused service time

Your Data After Cancellation:

  • Data Export: Request a complete, machine-readable copy of all school data (student records, staff info, grades, attendance) within 30 days of cancellation

  • Data Deletion: Request permanent deletion from our servers after export

  • Timeline: Data export provided within 10 business days; deletion completed within 30 days of request

  • Format: Data provided in common formats (.xlsx, .csv, .json) for easy transition to another system

Data Ownership & Security Assurances:

  • You own all data. We never share it with third parties.

  • Deleted data is permanently removed—not archived, not sold, completely gone.

  • We maintain audit trails proving deletion completion.

  • If you change your mind after cancellation, archived backups (typically retained 90 days) can sometimes be restored—ask within that window.

Failed Transition Support:

  • Can't get data out? Can't import to another system? Contact our team. We'll troubleshoot or delay deletion until you're settled.

  • We won't trap you in the system.
